The violin for the advancing student. It has a rich, clear, powerful sound with an excellent, complex texture. Its fine spirit varnish finish, as found on more expensive violins, which results in a better sound allowing a wider range of tonal colors. This superior Bulgarian violin includes flamed maple one-piece back, solid two-piece spruce top, sturdy flamed maple sides, inlaid purfling, ebony pegs, fingerboard and chinrest. This violin is made according to the Guarneri pattern, preferred by many string players. A feature of the Guarneri pattern is that it is slightly smaller than the Stradivari pattern.
